PLEASE HELP CANT INSTALL CATALYST DRIVERS

I purchased RADEON 4770 TODAY (upgrade from geforce 7900 gs) ..
BUT CANT INSTALL DRIVERS FOR IT ......(((( :((((

THIS MESSAGE APPEARS WHEN I TRY TO INSTALL::

First, I think there is some software to completely remove the previous drivers. Do that, can't remember, I think "Driver Cleaner" or so.

Then, install the HD4770, and make sure from the BIOS that the Video Adapter Setting is set to "Auto."

Now, it shud work.

driver cleaner isnt free anymore so try driver sweeper...Its just as good.

BTW, what about ur 7900GS now? U gonna try VMOD it and all cuz it does tht gr8.

9.0 catalyst (((

cant install 9.3 ,9.4 version

THE SAME ERROR COMES I MENTIONED iN ISt POST ABOVE ...

already tried to remove traces..
using software.

^Hmm...4770 is a new card, maybe ati have screwd their drivers for your version of card...try in a different computer...If it works in a diffn comp and still doesnt in yours, then try a system reinstall, oh and are you sure ur dloading the right version of drivers for your version of windows?

oh wait for the Catalyst 9.5/9.6, tht shud hav official support.
U hav to run on internal 8.6.xx.xx drivers provided on the CD till then.

i was trying to use the 9.4 which were used in the 4770 reviews on many sites but all using x64 xp or win vista... BUT THEY SUPPORT 32 bit.. and 4770 not mentioned in supproted LIST SADDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD
