My Old PC suddenly stopped displaying

Today when I plugged my old PC its not displaying anything on the screen and continous beep is coming initially. Does it means that the problem is with RAM?

Does transcend RAM has 5 yr warrenty??

Are they 2x2GB kit or are they all 1GB each? Put the rams on the 1st and 3rd DIMM slot. Make sure you have inserted them properly. If they still dont boot up, try booting up with 1 ram at a time.
Edit: Your old system. What is the configuration?
If they start working, get a bootable disk with memtest on them and get the rams checked. Run the ram test on stock settings to make sure if they are working properly without any overclocks- same goes for the DRAM voltage.

the problem was with the RAM. I removed 1GB chip and its working. But then I have to work with just 1 GB of RAM. Any Idea how much warranty does Transcend hold? I know its not as good as G-Skill, Corsair, OCZ, Patriot in terms of perfomance.

Does it hold 5 year warranty? I purchased it from computer empire Nehru place in August 2006.
