good monitors are pretty hard to find in the Ahmedabad market, samsung 2233SW, Dell S2209W not available here.

Yea, this one' s too available in Surat also. I haven't inquired abt 2233SW here.

Minus point is there are no reviews of this LCD on net also. So wait sometime. Another minus point, the looks are nowhere near to 2233SW

My first post from my new Samsung 2233SW....got it for 10.5k from croma and installed and started it now...

more questions...

I didnt get a DVI cable with this...what brand and type should i get one..wat wud be ideal price..

the refresh rate at all the resolutions is at 60 hertz only...is it right?

wat cable do i need to connect Xbox 360 to the monitor?

playing videos is difficult...the sound and video cut while playing..although they remain in sync..while i had just opera running in the background..

i tried lowering the resolution (currently at 1920 x 1080, 60hz) to 1920 x 1050 and even lower, but then the text gets distorted and its not clear to read...
