COMPUTER PURCHASE
I want to purchase a new PC.....(GAMING) I Just want suggestion for Motherboard & Processor... Budget(motherboard + processor) = Rs 10,000. I want to go with AMD Phenom X3 tri core processor and asus M3N78 motherboard with NVIDIA GeForce 8200 Chipset... But i am confused with the combination whether it will work smoothly or not... so, if you kindly comment on this... or can you suggest any other combination..... please rply.... THANK YOU |

Was M3N78 is a 8200Chipset??  OK, Just get the Phenom X3 8xx proccy and Gigabyte/ASUS 780/790GX based Mobo..(I think it had HD3000 onboard gfx) which is good for mild gaming too....

It so happens that I checked out several AMD motherboards recently. There are three versions of the Asus M3N78 series. Make sure you buy the version you need. IIRC, these are the main differences:
M3N78 Pro - NVidia 8300; 6 rear USB; FW; no PS/2 mouse port; 3 PCI M3N78-VM - NVidia 8200; 6 rear USB; no FW, 2 PCI M3N78-EH - NVidia 730a; 4 rear USB; no FW; no onboard graphics; 3 PCI |
