Question UPS not working

Well while I was playing Transformers yesterday, my SMPS and UPS suddenly stopped working...My SMPS actually fried and I replaced it. So my CPU is working fine now

Regarding my UPS, when I switch it on, the beep sound is audible and it does not respond to the power supply provided to it

Is it the fuse problem. Did it blow up when my SMPS went dead or the problem is deeper

main AC power may not be reaching the ups
and also check the power supply in you're house for any short circuit...

It is possible that the SMPS shorted and blew the fuse in the UPS. Is the fuse accessible from outside? Do you know how to check the fuse?

there must be a spike surge (sudden supply of high voltage) which had made ur smps fry and might be the fuse had gone off...
jus check it...

You are right. It happened to me also. It happens if your UPS outlet is loose and for which it cannot make appropriate connection. You will have to open the UPS and fix it.
