HEY GUYS

I'm planning to buy a graphics card from nehru place.
i talked to MASS COMPUTERS...he is offering NVIDIA 9400 card at a price of Rs.2200{512 mb} and Rs.3000{1 gb}
is it ok to buy a card of this model
plz give ur advice regarding NVIDIA only........

Buying any hardware based on fanboism is pretty sILLY- especially in this day of age. Think of it this way- if you are getting something better for same amount of money- why not buy it?

And what about the motherboard? If you cant find out on the product's manual, google and download cpu-z. The mainboard button will give you an idea. I want to know the wattage of the psu mentioned as well.

And the psu? Once you pop the hood your computer tower, You will see a sticker on the power supply (smps) which will have specifications being mentioned. Do mention what are the amps under +12v rail. Last thing you want is a blown up system only because the psu is under powered for the gfx card.
