My laptop is one floor above the router and is receiving signal fine... Havent checked the complete extent of the router since it is a recent purchase (got it for 2000 at a local store), but so far no major complaints... Arun

I dunno of any proper DD-WRT firmware for this model since it apparently lacks an MMU.
