Well, gaming purely depends on wat level (setting) U wanna game at RMN..
I mean, a 8xxx series gpu lappy can also be said a gaming lappy as compared to a 9xxx series or even a SLi (8xxx in SLi)..
THe main thing to look at (wat i feel is) is the amount of RAM+GPU memory (dedicated, not Intgrated).. a lappy has
Sony Vaio hv 128 MB Dedicated lappy,
but for a gaming lappy, (in my sense) a lappy SHUD definately and mandatorily hv a Minimum of 256MB of dedicated gpu and if its 512MB dedicated (like the ones in HP's DV4 series) its the best...
Btw, in India, the only lappy thats certified gaming (by industry) is the
Dell XPS M1730 (the 5kg, 56 min (on battery mode) and 2x256 MB 8600 SLi) priced at a NOT-AT-ALL-VALUE-FOR-MONEY price of Rs.99,990/- ..
But wat i think is that, more of a gaming lappy, its a desktop replacement..
In the US, u get affordable lappy wich are truly gaming lappy like the M51 from Alienware or the Dell XPS M1730 (wich in the US model has NVIDIAŽ SLI™ Dual GeForceŽ 9800M GT with 1GB GDDR3 Memory)..and at a affordable price of (if im notmistaken) at Rs.88,000/-

Cheers n e-peace...
