When I press start button of my pc, it starts for 3-5 seconds and then it restarts automatically & loads fine. And sometime during playing games like DMC 4 it shows BSOD and restarts. My configuration is as follows. C2Duo 6750. 2 gb ddr2 Ram MSI P 35 Neo 260 Gb harddisk Zebronic lava Cabinet with 400w PSU. Light Scribe DVD R/W Drive. 19 Inch H P monitor. At second startup it also shows that primary adapter is not installed or something like that. What would be the problem. |

The usual basic power cycle:
# Clean the vents on the psu using a dry brush or a can of compressed air, clean the fans, etc. # Take your system back to default settings if overclocked # Try with a different psu- a better one. # Run orthos (google and download) stress test to test stability for 5 hours. # run HD tune's error scan (google and download) to check for bad sectors. |

Possibility is endless in a substandard psu. Which is why i mentioned to try with a better psu and then run orthos test. Reason being the psu might have allready damaged the components- or the psu itself. Only way to figure it out is by stress testing but best if stress testing is done on a proper psu- not a substandard one or else you are digging a grave for your system.
