dude. wait for some time. there is a drastic price cut on many GPU's, especially HD4870 and GTX260. Both are now available for $170 (around 8k in USA). Don't buy these in hurry. With such budget, I would really recommend you to wait. a week or two and you will get lot better deal.

UPS: APC 800VA
Cabinet: CoolerMaster CM690 PSU: Corsair VX550 or higher Monitor: Dell 2209W Keyboard+Mouse: Logitech MX *(don't remember model number for cordless laser desktop) DVD Drive: Sony/Samsung DVD drive Note: X58 mobo doesn't come with onboard graphics and hence you have to buy a GPU.

@toofan:
I checked, but I was still not really satisfied, so I posted this thread. Still, eagerly waiting for your suggestions! Just one request more, please comment on desiibonds suggestions, because then I get confused on what to buy again. I'm a Newbie on Hardware, see...I've got a lot to learn! @desiibond: Thanks!! I didn't know that the X58 mobo didn't have onboard graphics, so I'll wait for maybe 2-3 weeks. If you hadn't told me that, I'd be sitting at home, with a useless piece of metal at my home, expecting it to start! |

^^welcome.
Yes. I totally agree. Most of those config's were bullsiht. A 7k mobo for entry level config. I would rather buy G31 based board+9600GT and get lot more out of the box than that 28k config

I recomment this:
1.i7-920 2.Gigabyte x58 UD5...much better than intel and its only 1k more at 17k 3.3GB corsair Tri-channel kit: 7.5k 4.Get 2xMSI HD4870 and crossfire (12.5k each) if your budget for gfx is 25k..get 2xHD4850 crossfire if less than 20k..It will cost 16k...Both these setups easily beat GTX280 and 2x4850 comes close to 4870x2 5.HDD is fine 6.For cooling get the TRUE 1366 edition...Its not available in india yet though...Order it from KMD..will be around 4k...Dont get cooling if you are NOT Overclocking 7.cabinet--CM690--3.8k 8.PSU--corsair TX650--7k 9.monitor BenQ T2200--9k 10.Logitech G15 keyboard at 4.5k 11.Logitech MX518 mouse at 1k 12.samsung sata DVD burner for 1k Total if you chose 4850 cfx will cost 84k...Without cooler 80k If you chose the more powerfull 4870 it will cost 93k with cooler and 89 without...personally 2 HD4850 at 16k is much more than enough for a 22" display to play all games maxed out...
