Default Re: monitor/display problem

Get latest gfx card drivers.
Uninstall your gfx card driver in safe mode.
Shut down the pc.
Open your cabby.
Take out the gfx card.
Take out Rams from ram slot.
Clean all mobo components including Ram & gfx card slot.
Clean gfx card & Ram.
Clean monitor signal cable.
Reinsert them firmly & properly.
Start your comp & install the latest gfx card driver.

I think some essential acid inside the monitor is finished. I had the same problem and a vendor told me this. Take it to the vendor and ask for it.
