laptop bad pixel

i purchased a Toshiba satellite series laptop yesterday.it has got a bad pixel on its screen.i got to see it when i reached home.it is green in colour and looks very odd.can the laptop be replaced as it is a manufacturing defect or not.

I dont see why not? Certain companies replace laptops which has atleast 4 pixels- some even do with 1. Be in touch with your dealer and see how it goes.

get back to your retailer ASAP,then you will get it replaced
if you wait for a week or 2 they will probably say there should be at least 4-5 dead pixels.

got it replaced today.firstly the dealer said that contact the customer care.when i contact the customer care they said that the screen wud be replaced.i got my dad to talk with the dealer and after some persuasion he agreed to replace it.i went straight to the dealer and got it replaced.everything is ok now
