Unhappy Memory Matter

I have an Assembled Pc ,My Configuration is
Core 2 Duo 3.0 Ghz,945G Chipset
3GB DDR2 Ram,500 GB Hdd,Windows Vista,Windows Xp.

I Have Recently Removed And Later Inserted My Ram Modules
For Cleaning,
Later After Booting In Bios the system shows 3 gb ram.
But in task manager it only shows 1 gb of Ram!

I Have checked "System Information"(Microsoft Tool)
It shows that,

Installed Memory As 3 GB
& Total Memory As 1GB.(which should be shown as 3 gb)

What's Gone Wrong?
I Have Also Checked Every Single Module Out Of three ,
All seems to be fine But After Adding them together the Problem occurs!

Default Re: Memory Matter

Does it show as 1 gb ram in both the os? Try removing 2 modules and boot up and see wat happens.then do the same thing with others.
