I suggest AMD.

Biostar 780G motherboard - 3.2K
AMD Athlon X2 4400+ - 2.5K

With Intel, you get more overclockable CPU but at the cost of much weaker onboard graphics. G31 is obviously the chipset of choice. Just get the most feature rich board. If you can sacrifice Dual Channel RAM, I suggest a GeForce 7050 chipset based motherboard for the same price which has much better onboard graphics.

And E2160 has been depriciated along with E2140 and both are very rare to find in the market. E2140 is still around in a few online retailer outlets but its weaker than AMD CPUs. You can get E2180 or E2200 but they are both in the 3.2K range.

If you can't spend Rs. 700 extra for UBER onboard graphics in AMD, I suggest the intel config instead.

and if you think going for 3K proccy then E5200 is a better buy.
AMD will certainly be a better buy.

Is Amd 4000 available now or any Sempron dual core? I need the cheapest Amd dual core for my friend to go with Asus M2N68-AM motherboard with dual channel support at 2.2k.It has GeForce 7025 chipset is it good?

^^^I gurantee u won't be able to even come close to playing a DX10 game with INTEL IGP, let alone any game newer than 2008(inclusive if 2008 and 2009 games and many 2007 titles).

The AMD onboard IGP will allow you to even play CRYSIS!(*conditions apply)

Yes, the X2 7750 Black Edition for Rs. 3500
And that motheboard is good enough. Don't go for lesser than that.

BTW, shud I mention, buying a X2 5200 or X2 5000 is worse than buying a Pentium Dual Core E2140 1.6GHz???

For you own sake, try to get the X2 7750 B.E.

Which M.board costing around Rs 3000/- has best onboard graphic card (for some casual gaming) to use with X2 7750 B.E.

Wrong. E2140 ties with X2 4000+.
Check out TomsHardware CPU Charts.

X2 5000+ or 5200+ if available at 2.7K would be good enough. They roughly tie with E2180 at stock I think.

Yeah, but still, that's useless. On the other hand, a 3GHz X2 7750(after OC) hits E7400 in performance as well which is quite good considering it's price.
