Lightbulb Gonna upgrade


currently i have p4 3ghz,512mb ddr1,intel 915mobo...
i want to upgrader my system to play games and be more "graphically pleasant"
pl suggest me upgrading options...(in 10 - 15k range)

gigayte g31 - 2.3k
transcend 800mhz ddr2 - 2bgx1 - 1.2k
seagate 7200.12 hdd - 500gb - 3k
palit/zotac 9600gt - 5.5k
psu - cm 460 -2k
other things you can use from older system. sell ur cpu+mobo+ram ~ 1.5-2k

the config by foruamit2004 seems fine.. though u can consider changing a few things...
- go with 667mhz ram instead of 800mhz - will save money. the c2d e5200 won't really be able to make much use of the extra 133mhz.
- for better performance, consider dual channel memory i.e. 1gbx2 rather than 2gbx1.
- u could use the hdd of ur current system. if that seems too less, u can go for a seagate or samsung 250gb sata hdd.
- u might be able to do with ur current psu as c2d requires quite lesser power than the p4 and adding the gpu shudn't tip the scales much. just check the power requirements of the c2d, p4 and the 9600gt.

i dont want HDD
so is e5200,9600gt,2gigs of ram and a suitable smps is ok????

will my existing PSU support the above config?? plz reply...
or shud i go for a new one???
