Default Maxtor or Freeagent

I wanna buy a 500 Gb external hard disk. the local shop guy said
Maxtor will cost 4100 Rs
and Free agent near about 4600-4700 Rs
So which is better is free agent worth the extra money.

My friend just got himself a 3.5" Seagate External HDD for Rs 3850/- and the maxtor HDD was available for Rs 3.7k.
Secondly if u wanna go for the 2.5" External HDD then they are bit expensive on the wallet.
The prices for 2.5" which we got were-
320GB WD external for Rs 6.3k
500GB approx Rs 6.7k i suppose.
All prices from Prime ABGB shop at Lamington Rd.

For a better idea regarding the prices of External HDD Click HERE
The market price and the website price do not differ much.
