Default There's a noise whenever I connect any earphone with my Dell Inspiron 6400!

Hello

Whenever I connect any earphone to my Dell Inspiron 6400 laptop, immediately some electonic gheez bheez noise comes. i've tried it with Creative ep 630 and Sennheiser cx300. This static noise remains even when I mute my sound and always remain at constant level. How to get rid of it!!
