Help needed to choose Motherboard!!

Hi friends!
I’m new to this forum as a member after having a great week as a guest.

Friends, I’m going to assemble a PC in next week. I have thought configuration as follows:

Intel Core 2 Duo 2.66GHz
Motherboard = ???????? (Very much confused)
Transcend 2GB (2x 1GB) DDR2-800 Memory
Samsung 17” or 19" LCD Monitors
Samsung HDD 250GB
LG DVD writer
Keyboard (maybe TVS!)
Mouse (Maybe Logitech!)
iball stunner Cabinet
Transcend 250 or 320 GB external HDD

I’m really very much confused about choosing a motherboard! Friends, do you suggest me a mother board around Rs.2500-Rs.3500? Please mention the brand and model also if possible. Pleasessss help me out!!

for insdie 3k, you can pick gigabyte G31 chipset based motherboard. They offer great value and are pretty stable.

Can you please name Full ATX motherboard from Gigabyte G31 based motherboard? The board may not have on-board graphic because I will put a Graphics card.

Mate, if u can stretch and bargain a little then u can get an aBit IP35-E for 4500/-, it is one of the best motherboards and known for its value for money....
