I need to change my mobo and my budget is Rs.3500.
I want a gaming mobo so if i go for
MSI P6N GM-L NVIDIA® MCP73V Chipset 1333 FSB
or
Asus P5N MX Nvidia GeForce 7050 1333 FSBwith 4 GBs of ram will i be able to Play NFS Undercover without installing a graphics card?If you have a better mobo on mind at dis price range for this purpose then pls help me out.I require your help urgently.

Btw my procy is C2D 1.8 Ghz so hope it gonna work fine wid da mobo.

the game can run run only @ low performance . Changing the mobo will not improve the gaming performance

Save up about 5k, get a G31 for 2.2k and an HD4550(better than 9500GT) for 2.8-3.8k AFAIK.

Is G31 better dan NVIDIA® MCP73V?
and shall i go for MSI HD 4350 or XFX 8600GT (both 512mb ddr3 though MSI is much cheaper)?or pls suggest a good gcard around 3500-3700.

Friend, adding more of RAM will improve performance like lesser loading times and no stucking in the gameplay to some extent, but the main thing thats required for gaming is Graphic Card, unless you have a good one you cant play games at good looking glory

Why aren't you interested in asus boards ? And is there any problem not geting 9500GT.

Go for Asus P5KPL-CM ( Rs.2350 ) and Palit or Sparkle 9500GT ( Rs. 3500-4000 )

9500GT costs more but performs almost same to same with HD4550, prob is I dunno one shop which has HD4550 yet.

BTW-I updated "Latest Prices", havn't added P2 prices or HD4550/4350, no confirmation on their prices yet.

Wait before you jump to a conclusion to buy a mobo + graphics card better tell what is your current mobo and if it has a PICe x16 slot then go for a better graphics card that will also ensure that you can play most if not all games
So please post your current config with PSU and the budget you are ready to spend altogether and the possible recommendations will be given!

Biostar has a P35 mobo priced only Rs. 3500 or so ( lynx-india ) but I don't know it it's available in kolkata - Last time I checked I could not find one.

Asus & MSI both are good but I prefer asus. Don't even think of 9400GT - This card/GPU just sucks. Instead try getting a 9500GT. It's far more better than 9400/HD4350.

Go for Asus P5KPL-CM. It's based on intel G31 chip & is better than both MSI P6N GM-L & G31 M3F.

P6N doesn't even supports dual channel. So memory performance in gaming will reduce by 15-30%.

4350 GPU is not just powerful enough to outperform 9500GT. So stick with it.

If you want best deal avoid those shops. Try shops like vedat, mohit, M.D computers etc.

That mobo has only one IDE port ( actually most of the current mobo has the same )
so you can use the HDD and the DVD RW.

Ya. eastern logica is not a bad shop but the prices are a bit higher there.
You can try computer world ( go straight ahead from eastern logica and you will find that on left hand side )

First of all I think it will be bit harder to find Zotac 9500GT card model which
is selling for Rs. 3250 in the itwares.

You will find sparkle, palit readily available. I got quote of Rs. 4000
for Palit 9500GT 256MB DDR3 ( gfx card which is better than DDR2 based 9500GT cards. )
Sparkle is selling for Rs. 3550 for 9500GT 512MB DDR2.

Mohit, Arihant is near Sabiir Hotel. Actually you will find many small & mid size shops there. Vedant is near also. Just try those small shops & you will get the best deal.

M.D. computer is near Exide Battery Shop. ( which is near eastern logica )
