I need a PSU which is capable of running a Core 2 Duo Q6600 an 8600GT and 3 SATA Hard drives for long hours without any problems. Also please specify which brand to use. I hear Coolermaster is cheaper but Corsair is handy for overclocking albiet it is much costlier than Coolermaster.
My system is quite entry level but it is heavy in terms of number of components like two ram sticks, 3 sata harddrives, USB mouse and keyboard 1 USB harddrive which is almost always connected to the PC for transferring data. I have a night time unlimited connection so I keep my PC turned on for 6-7 hours at a stretch for downloading. So which powersupply should I choose to keep my system from frying?
