Red face system getting restarted when dvd drive is opened..

few days back system was getting restarted....when i was opening the dvd drive some times only...now it is getting restarted every time i open the dvd drive .....and also the dvd drive opens after pressing its button four to five times....please help me

Try reconnecting the power & data cable.

More info needed whether it's PATA/SATA ?
