Default Need help in buying pen-drive(s)

Ok so I had 3 pen drives...

2GB, 4GB and 8GB. Now the 4GB one is lost somewhere by my GF and i wanna buy another one. As the prices of flash memory devices are going down, I thought of getting a 8GB one. Now the question is, should I buy 4GB+4GB pen-drives(incase she loses one more ) or a single 8GB drive. My brand preferences will be Corsair or Sandisk. If my dad will allow me to splurge a li'l more, then I might even get the Flash Voyager GT(s).

So drop in your valuable suggestions guys .

And also suggest another brand/model if you think they are better than the ones I have choosen as I have to exchange my pen-drives on a daily basis as me and my friends keep exchanging data.

You have made the right choice, Sandisk & Corsair provide very good performance.
Get a 8GB one, it will be VFM. If possible, get a HDD & make it external, it will be good for exchageing large volume of data between your friends.

One more advice, tell you GF not to lose this one or threaten to leave

i have benchmarked most of the fds in market...corsair flash voyager was the fastest budget drive....although i havent used ocz but it is reported to be fastest ...corsair comes with 10 and sdisk with 2yrs.....but warranty duration shuldnt be the factor while buying one...coz most of the people loose it before

Even I've bought Corsair 8GB one 2 months back - It's just gives great perf over my transcend 2GB Pendrive - So go for Corsair Flash voyager - Comes with 10 years warranty

Please stop using 'KPower Mania'

I am Psychosocial. I have nothing to do with 'KPower Mania'. He's dead.

Anyways, ordering Corsair Flash Voyager 8GB. Not the GT version though .
