check your motherboard manual (search on intel site if you dont have it) and follow instructions as to the reset of BIOS settings using jumpers or someother methods

u did same as me....my RAM latencies were 5-5-5-15 and i changed it to 4-4-4-12 and the same condition occured as u r s....I tried to reset the BIOS but it didn't worked ...If u do the same as me u r prob can be solved visit Dead BIOS

But if u r doing it frst time don't do it...Do it on u r own risk....or just give the CPU to the vendor....

i think for secure side read ur motherboard manual as there is option of resetting the bios to factory default by changing the jumper positon on the board

get the manual from here and see for bios recovery
http://www.intel.com/products/deskto...g-overview.htm

First try the first image method if it works its good other wise try the second image method. Other wise try Varad Dilip Choudhari method but do it with great care
