today i asked price of seagate .it costs 3300/- for 500gb in one shop W.D was not available there. In another shop W.D 640gb HDD cost 3500/- I heard W.D ll get BAD sectors, guys tell me which one i should purchase. Seagate or W.D? Last edited by manojkrishnaks; 02-01-2009 at 08:15 PM. |

As far as possible, try to stick with WD. Currently, WD has better HDD's as compared with Seagate.
You will get the same warranty on both HDD's. Performance wise, WD is always better. You get a 500GB drive for Rs.2850/- Don't buy from a shop which overcharges you... |
