Question Need to buy the cheapest possible 500GB external HDD

I need to buy the cheapest possible 500 GB HDD, please tell which HDD will be the best for me and one more question, will there be an external power supplier with that? If yes then I would like to buy 320GB HDD (I guess it has no power supplier, i.e. it runs on the power of USB).

If u dont need portability, I suggest customising ur HDD.
Get an internal Segate 7200.11 500GB HDD for 3.2k and a SATA case for .6k.
U have a solution within 4k.

The price seems to be OK.

Is it USB powered or you have feed power through a external ac adaptor ?
