My problem is that i cannot ping the laptop from my desktop and vice versa...but i can ping the router from both the computers.. I am basically trying to set my desktop and my laptop for LAN multiplayer gaming. is it possible with this router or do i have to buy another router? can Anyone please help |

i have the same router and would like to use it for sharing files. have the same kinda setup mentioned above. tried various online articles about networking, no luck.
