Default system upgrade


guys i am unable to play games like quake4, vegas2,arma etc. at high details because after about 20 min system hangs and display message that disply driver stoped working need to restart. but quake4 works fine at mid settings some suggested me to upgrade proc, ram,mobo.
my current config is-
pro- amd3000+
mobo- msi rs 480m2
gcard- palit 4850
ram- 1.25gb
psu- antec ea650w
now i want to upgrade my proc mobo ram. i have short listed following configuration from lynxindia online shopping store PLEASE SELECT FROM FOLLOWING TO MAKE BEST UNDER 23K BUDGET-

I ALREADY HAVE-
PALIT 4850 GRA CARD
ANTEC EA650WATTS PS
and want to use this for gaming on xp , ocasionally use vista64 bit and i have budget of RS 23000 MAX SO PLEASE CHOSE BEST CONFIGURATION FROM ABOVE MENTION.
I ALSO HAVE SOME QUESTION-
ram- is it better to go for 4 stics of 1gb or 2 stics of 2GB
which latency is better 5-5-5-18 or 5-5-5-12 and how much
MOBO- with cosidring prices which one has better overclocking capacity AND DOES IT WORTH PRICE DIFFERENCE
what is diff between MSI neo3fr and MSI neo-f
PROC- if budget dont allow going for E8500 should i go for E8400 or E8200 and how much difference it make in gaming
are prices mention in LYNXINDIA including VAT?

Go for 2 Stick of 2GB

^^ come on. He wants to play games. and he want a config with video card under 23k.

I would say:

1) E8400: 8.5k or E7200 : 6k
2) MSI P45 Neo-F: 5k
3) Transcend/Kingston two 2GB sticks : 700 bucks each
4) Palit HD4850: 9.5k
5) Corsair VX450 PSU: 3k

I HAVE 23K FOR PRO+MOBO+RAM
i alredy have palit HD4850 and antec EA650 watts psu.

Go for Quad core processor. It wil be beneficial in the long term. Most of the new games are being optimised for Quad cores. There's no use of a fast dual core as most of the work is done by the gfx card. If u ask me i'll suggest this:
Processor-> Q8200- 10k
Mobo-> MSI P45 NEO2 FR-8.3k
RAM->Get Corsair 2x2GB in dual channel.-2.2k

Haven't you read his 1st post Read before you post
Though it's long I've read it thoroughly

C4 rams performs better in memory intensive tasks line gaming than value c5 rams.

& where in the the earth you're getting 2GB sticks for only Rs. 700.
Can you give me some address or links.

I've bought transcend 2GB 800Mhz stick for Rs. 1075 this month.

He aleady own HD4850 and Antec 650w psu.

^^ow. you are correct. My mistake. And correction for the RAM price too. sorry, posted in a hurry.

Anyways. I think it's better to wait for a month or two if you want to spend 25k on proccy mobo and RAM.

Hi, i too have a budget of 25-30k for a gaming rig without monitor...plz help me out..i am thinking of the following coz they get zero1 awards...

mobo MSI P7NGM Digital
ram 2x 2GB DDR2 800 Mhz corsair
pro Core 2 duo E8400
grafix EVGA 9600GT

plz tell me is this good config or can get better..and plz tell me the price of each...

gigabyte p45 ds3l
other addition-
samsung dvd writer 22x

and now my all problems are solved.playing games at ultra high quality smoothly
