I am going to use intel core 2 duo with it for official work ( internet surfing, Ms office & web design application) & occasionally running video editing software ( premiere pro or pinnacle studio).

you bought the cpu already ? which ?
I suggest a Gigabyte G31 board for 2.2K plus a 9500GT for 3.4K.
Much better graphics performance than with just onboard video.

No. You'll need a PCIe card. I am using my old Asus 6200 with the Neo F. No gaming for me also!

Since he wants onboard and does not want to game, its pretty pointless IMO to buy an expensive motherboard like that.
And it also does not have an onboard graphics solution to help save power/money.

Then you can try my configuration. Gigabyte G31 pairs with E7200 or E7300 wonderfully and is damn cheap at 2.3K. Its got some neat power saving features and onboard graphics.

And the money you save can be used on an external graphics card, and even if you don't game, it would definitely help accelerate graphics performance with apps like maya, and also help in HD Video decoding.

There are really cheap graphics cards available, and 9500GT at 3.4K would be the highest you can buy in your budget and it can even game. But you can always select the onboard graphics solution as video device from your BIOS if you want to save power.

Anyway, for the work you are going to be using the system for, an E7200 is not even needed. You can easily do with lesser CPUs.

Since your work is just browsing, office and web design, I suggest going for an AMD solution with AMD Athlon X2 CPU along with a Biostar 780G board.

Check this motherboard out:

And this CPU:

Would do the job well and consume quite less power. Advantage here is that you have plenty of expansion slots, and future processors are compatible with this board. The onboard performance is quite high compared to intel chipsets.

Go get Zotac Geforce 9300Gt Based motherboard. That should cost you Rs. 5500-5800.

That 9300GT chip is DX10 Ready - So you can do a little gaming on that board. Some Features of that mobo & 9300GT

- VGA port
- HDMI port
- DVI port

GeForce® 9 series DirectX® 10.0 core
- 16 stream processors
- Microsoft DirectX 10 and OpenGL 2.1 compatible
- NVIDIA CUDA and PhysX ready
- NVIDIA PureVideo HD technology

Intel g31, g35, g43 & even g45 chip sucks when it comes to video & gaming performance compared to 9300GT.

^^Lol, the IGP version is called 9300mGS.
And yeah, G31 with 9500GT would give triple the graphics performance of 9300mGS.
