Need a new battery for my UPS.!

hi guys,

i have a proview 500VA ups, working like a charm for the past 5 years(touchwood). But since a few days im not getting backup after power cut. Its beeping continously for about a minute and the PC is switching off.. I guess the battery is dying..

can i change the battery instead of getting a new UPS.! i'd like to know a few 'good' brands.!

can i know the costs?

and is there any specific batteres for 500 VA or 600 VA? i mean can i increase my backup with a high power battery?

Battery is 12Volts rated at 7AH with price range of Rs. 750-600.

Yes, you can increase the backup by putting bigger battery but it wont fit in your UPS case, else you can use it.
