Weird problem

Hi, i have two LG drives. 1 combo and another is DVD writer. My problem is that DVD writer cant recognise DVDs and it reads and writes to CDs. Also, the exact opposite happens with combo drive. It reads DVDs but cant recognise CD's. DVD writer was workin fine a month ago . This problem is driving me nuts Any solutions guys? I would be grateful to u guys.

they have gone caput. heehe, how old are they get them replaced whichever is under warranty. your combo drive may be very old, so if you wanna keep it working then may be lens is needed to be changed, do not know of the cost.

seriously..claim warranty if not available..sell it for a price which will at least by some snacks for you and transport charge by bus..while you also buy a news one at the same time
