Default Have some issues with New z5500 set

Hi....

I just got my z5500 replaced given 2 months ago after my control pod LCD backlight issue. A brand new one..though not so sure about the sub woofer..the packaging was not like the first one..

I have some pblms...or are they...you tell me...

1. LAst night voltage was low somehow..even my UPS was not getting a start..byt 9.30 however the UPS was fine, so i turned the PC on. and the speakers to test it out.

Even though the set is on i cant hear sound form music...movies..the sound card channel test..or the in-built speaker channel set..

once i heard like abrupt sounds...i cant describe it else..it usually happens when voltage is low..but i havent seen it produce no sound at all...

u know why??

2. At same time as above..after sometime speakers itself turned off...meaning to standby.. why??.

And this morning....

1. This morning however voltage was ok and speakers were on and all..and i can hear the sound and all...but..

2. In my sound card channel test i cant hear the default noise sound from front right channel,,u guys know why??.. i am using X-Fi Fatality...

But the speakers inbuilt channel test the front right was making sound and was fine..

Then i saw a movie then also it was fine... except the sound card test though...u guys know why??

Please answer the ones u know....

Jerin

re-install the damn sound card drivers and softwares...first uninstall everything relating to it..and then re-install...remove hardware also..
see if that resolve the problem..and also unplug the mains when the voltage is bad
