what's price. It certainly will be the deciding factor.

I have 198WFP and it rocks. I rate it as the best in 19" displays

did you get that price from dealer or from dell?

anyways, that display looks very much similar to what I have except that mine has silver bezel. I think you can go for it. But order it online as support can be a problem if you buy from local hardware dealer.

and if you can pay 3k extra, I think you can go for the BenQ 22" display that support FullHD display. but you need a good Graphics card to drive that display (while playing games and watching HD movies)

i got the price from dealer in thrissur jaycees computers.but @ itwares Dell SE198WFP =Rs 9750/-

have not seen that other but SE198WFP rocks !!!!! true value for money product... u will never regret.. ultimately best 19" TFT monitor under 10k... (in my opinion)

You better get it from Dell. Check with your dealer if you he can take care of warranty issues with the monitor. It's not that you face problem but you need to be in a better position when any problem comes up.
