Default Display going Black

Hi Guys,

I started facing problem with my display today. If i run my PC for and hour or 2 my display goes dim dim and finally black.
Initially i though it was my video card so i removed it and ran it on onboard graphics however same thing happened after hour display went black. System is running quite normally temperatures are also good CPU was running at 42 C. What could it be.

I tried a different video cable but to no avail. It's like once the monitore goes hot it darkens or anything i don't know. Please help me with this issue.
