Motherboard For around 8K-9K

Hey People,

Please suggest me a good motherboard for around 8k-9k

My other configurations are:

4 GB (2x2 ) 667 Mhz
Quad Core Q6600
Seagate 500 GB HD
Asus Radeon HD4850 .


I want a good Mobo for gaming.

I have seen this Mobo : Asus P5QL-EM

Please let me know if it is good.

Gigabyte GA-EP31-DS3L for Rs. 3,200. p45 boards are just another slighty updated version of p35. It doesnt make sense the present chipsets for LGA775 is just slight update. x48 is the updated version of x38 and p45 is updated version of p35. These chipsets have reached their prime and their limit, so it doesnt make sense to spend so much on a motherboard. Gaming is more on the graphic card than on the motherboard. Pretty shocked that members didnt tell you this.

Asus P5QL-EM, is G45 chipset mobo, check for P45 chipset mobo.
as desibond said MSI P45 Neo-F is quiet good option.
You can also check its variant Neo2 and Neo3 as per your choice of specs.

are the other components yet to be bought or have you already bought them ? If former, get Q8200 instead of Q6600 and get 800MHz RAM instead of 667 MHz RAM. Net price difference would be 0, but you get much better OCing capabilities and less power consuption.

For mobo, I suggest a good CrossFire capable board.

but bro Q6600 is more Overclockable than Q8200?. but i support for 800MHz ram

^^^ i dont think so cuz Q8200 is 45nm afaik
also for mobo u can get MSI P45 Platinum

Q6600 is very old quad , but doing something good in performance but not like other quad 45nm processor ,

Q6600 u can OC to 3 to 3.2 on stock , but the power consumption will be more and more

Q6600 is NOT more Overclockable than Q8200.
At defaults, it consumes similar (but higher) power, has higher clockspeed and double cache.
So it looks highly attractive then.

But when overclocking, Q6600 drinks power, and still can't reach the levels Q8200 can reach, finally making Q8200 BETTER than Q6600 after moderate overclocking of both to same limits of temperature and power.

If you already have a mobo, that too an intel mobo, then Q6600 is the only choice since they can't OC. But never make the mistake of buying a non OC board as you will regret it not now, but after 3 years, when the warranty period would have expired and better CPUs arrived in the market, when you realize that with a Rs. 2000 cooling solution, your PC can perform as good as the new rig digit reviewed.
