I brought a new Enter Card reader which supports USB2 but everytime I connect it to my computer, it starts in USB1 and Windows gives a notification that it can perform faster if I plug it into USB2 port. All my ports are USB2 enabled as I am successfully able to use all other devices in USB2 in the same ports. Then why is this problem arising with this particular card reader. How can I resolve this problem? Please help.
Connect the reader to the ports on the back of the comp, not in the front. Connect it to the ports attached to the motherboard directly, not the ones you attach to the mobo using cables.
