Unhappy Hard disk problem


Hi guys, whenever i am turning my pc on a message appears on screen
" hard disk status bad backup and replace" What does it mean????????
my pc is running fine ......... help......

B4 doing anything else, backup ur important data.
Then run "chkdsk" in all the drives.
Report back.

The symptoms r not good.

if u hav warranty remaining on ur hdd then RMA it asap.
ur getting SMART failure prediction.

I have finished disk checking and the problem disappeared.......thanks for help ..........everything is running fine and smooth........

still the prob may be der. For total HDD checkup use "chkdsk <drive> /r"

Using the option '/r' will scan all the sectors(used+free) of ur HDD and will also check for bad sectors , partition table integrity , mis-reported free space , and will try to recover corrupt data.
