As u've "deleted" the previous dos partition, windows won't recognize it and wont show it to you.
To get back the lost space follow the steps:- 1>Right Click on "My Computer" icon on desktop 2> Click "Manage" 3>In the opened window, go to Storage>Disk Management. 4> Here u'll be able to c the deleted partition as <raw> or <new> or <unpartitioned> (I've forgot exact term showed here. But, its not NTFS or FAT) 5> Select that partition and select Format 6> In format as select NTFS/FAT as u like. Bas u r done.
