Strange problem...have to remove and put back Laptop battery for it to boot.

hi,

I am experiencing a strange problem. When I try to power ON my laptop nothing happens...no LED, no fan ,HDD sound. As if the Laptop is dead.
However when i connect to AC adapter works fine.....seems like a battery issue.
But when i remove the battery and put it back laptop works fine. Is it only some loose contact issue (though i dont think so coz battery fits snap tight and Laptop is only 6 months old.)
And it doesnt happen each time...only after a week or so.
Has anyone experienced something like this? Please share.. Any advice is useful.

Contact points clean? Try cleaning them

Cleaning with a dry clothe right? will do that.
