Mouse Not Working Plzzzzzzzz.....help

MY MOUSE FIRST WORKS PERFECTLY FOR AROUND 3SEC.....
then it freezing for moments THEN IT COMPLETELY STOPS moving........
and sometimes,after 2 min of booting it moves ON SCREEN RANDOMLY ...clickiong

MOUSE --cheap INTEX MOUSE
2 moths old

Nope Mouse is not affected by Viruses.

Shutdown PC...Disconnect the Mouse cable... Reconnect it... and restart the PC. If it works than Ok otherwise No solution

BUT HOW COME THE LIGHTS GLOWING IN THE MOUSE(I MEAN OPTICAL SENSORS)

to the OP:

dude, (if the mouse is a USB powered) then plz connect the mouse to another USB slot and then see.. else if its a PS/2 port mouse.. try another mouse..(to see if the port is responsive or no) else get a USB powered mouse...

^^ yeah try changing the port..for eg. if its a PS/2 mouse then put it in a usb slot using a convertor and vice versa..

If your mouse works for soem time, then I think it could be some mouse driver issue.
