Hi guys. I have two 500 gb seagate barracuda sata drive in RAID 0. Today when I was unraring a 4 gb file the computer froze and showed a BSOD. Now I can't boot. I have a lots of file in those HDD and don't want to lose them. When I turn on the pc now it shows the staus - normal and bootable - yes. But it does not boot. I tried to repair the os using the vista dvd but it couldn't even detect the HDD. Please help???

try to reinstall Vista on the RAID drives.
if u cant then install Vista on another drive and then try and recover wat u can from the raid partitions.
chances of recovery r slim.

Well. I have formatted and and now everything is gone almost 40 gig data. good thing is I have almost all of them backed up. I won't do and raid0 again in the future. I will do raid10 now

Thanks! I will try. But right now I have switched to IDE mode. I went for RAID0 because Vista won't give me a 5.9 rating when I am in the IDE mode. Damn
