Hey, I was considering a plain vanilla 6600. I know 9800XT's will beat
it hands down, but I want some new technology in my box. What new technology? Don't know, don't ask....... What's the best make/model for vanilla 6600's ? Keith |

Overall
My post should be correct but I can't be blamed for anything incorrect. Search ,xbitlabs.com,gpu,27cards tested 128mb geforce 6600gt>256mb radeon 9800xt>128mb radeon 9800pro overall especially with some games in opengl or some other games or some with aa,af @ 1600*1200 sometimes by large gaps,doom3 is and examaple, too much diff, about 80-100% maybe But sometimes radeon 9800pro 128mb may soar ahead by 10-15% maybe, confirm it otherwise plz don't belive it i warn you
