Ati Radeon HD 2000 series launched

The long awaited ATi R600 series of graphic cards have been officially launched.

At the top is 2900XT with 320 stream processors,512 MB,HDMI/HDCP,Avivo video processing and Half-life episode 2,Team fortress 2 and Portal license keys.Performance wise stands between Nvidia 88oo GTX and 8800 GTS 640.
Manufactured in 80 nm and costs $399.

Mid range is 2600 XT and Pro at prices between $99 to $199.

LOw end 2400 XT and Pro at $99 and below.

Dont expect the same prices in India though.

not sure as the Ati series are not much sought after in india.

But it will certainly trigger a competitve pricing b/w nvidia and Ati.
