Cheap graphics card Rs4k

I want a cheap gfx card under Rs4000. I m not a hardcore gamer. High details is not necessary for me. 800x600 at medium settings is ok for me. Suggest me a card under 4k. Should I go for 7300GS? I have heard that Turbocache cannot be disabled and is a nuisance. So I dont know wether I should buy a 7300GS which has turbocache. Is 7300GS bad? Help me please.

You have not understood it. I know the price. 7300GS 256MB memory is at 3.3K. I want to know whether it is worth buying. Remember I need a cheap card and medium settings is ok for me.

Please specify ur system specs. If u are not a gamer and resolutions like 800*600 is enuf, then most onboard wun satisfy you, especially those of newer mobos.

7300GS is an entry level gamin card and for ur uses there is no need for it. If u dun want onboard then a 6200 128 MB [not-turbocache] wud be fine for 2.2k and even Vista wun run cool in it.

get GT instead of GS. But as arvind said, buy card only if you would game and utilize the card.

I will utilise the card but not so much. I have a P4 3GHz, 915 motherbrd and 1GB RAM. Most new games are not supported by the onboard gfx so I want to buy a card. But I don't want to spend too much as I m not a hardcore gamer. I want a card that is able to play all dx9 games at medium settings. The games look is not a matter as long as its playable. So will 7300gs do or will it be a waste of money?

If u want to game at least without most of the effects then u shud consider at least a 7300GT for 4.5k or even less. Its sure will let u play every games of now at low~med setings @ 800*600 or 1024*768.
Go for it. XFX and Asus might be costly. So go for Leadtek which too is a gud brand but relatively lower price than the above two.

What about ati? Are there any ati card in the same price range that perform better than 7300gs or 7300gt?
