Default on board graphics...........!


I have intel D101ggc motherboard, 2.8ghz pentium processor & 512mb ddr ram which shows 448mb in my computer"s property. In my bios setting inside advanced there is an option "on board video memory" which shows four option ie 32,64,128,256mb. in which 64 mb is selected, now my qstn is that can i modify that , I mean can i change it to 32 or hire than 64? will it alter my graphics property, & the memory that i select will it take from ram? plz reply as soon as possbl thanks in advance.......

The more u increase it,it will suck ur system memory.This is barely noticeable except games.

the current setting is a good one, coz most of the games need 64MB for gfx. as min. requirement.

if you reduce it to 32MB, most the games will not run.

can v disable this option so as to reclaim the full 512 mb ram??

untill unless you have a Dedicated Graphics card, you should not do this.

448MB RAM is good enough to play most of the games smoothly.
