I currently have a 23 " Acer LCD monitor it has HDMI input. C2D 2.66 and 2GB ram. need a budget graphic card. I thought of Palit 9500GT / 9400GT both have HDMI output. 1> do i need a new smps ? I have the standard smps 400w that comes with cabinet. 2> any other graphic card that around the same price as above. I am not a gamer. just causal gaming..racing and FPS stuff maybe an hour or less than that daily. need pointers on which wud be a better graphic card for me... |

Sapphire HD 4670 512 DDR3 for 4.2k
Also Gecube can be considered around same price. Much better than 9500GT.

+1 for HD4670. DOn't consider 9500GT especially when HD4670 is available at such a price.

sapphire is a brand who makes cards out of ATI GPU. Other brands like sapphire are gecube, xfx, asus, msi , palit etc.
4670 generally dun need much power as other cards. It also dun need any additional power connector. So any generic 450W PSu can run it. If u want to be on safer side, get a zebby Pro 400 or 450W PSU. They are for around 2k.
