As he wants 8800 I think he has a pi-e based mobo.
@ meastro_66 - Which mobo do U have ?

For gfx card around 10K the best is only Palit or Sapphire HD 4850.

For nvidia cards - go for EVGA 9800 GT SC Super Clocked.

I would agree with topgear. First, I though of getting the 8800GT but then ppl here suggested me the HD4850, my friend bought it and it's simply awesome. Get the HD4850, you won't regret it. But get a good PSU of atleast 500W (min.). Anyways, what's your PC spec. ???

yea i agree with all the people who suggest that the HD 4850 is the best buy... in my opinion go for the MSI's newly launched card - MSI-R-4850 for around 10.5k / 9.8k it has a funky amount of cooling and is quite a good card...

Palit HD4850 is the best buy inside 10k. No second thought.

just a suggestion, go for HD4850 or 9800GTX+ instead of 9800GT.

9800GT is waste of money when you are getting HD4850 for same price and 9800GTX+ for 1.5k extra price.

Palit 9800GTX+ is around 12k and

Xpert Vision GF 9800GTX+ is around 11.5k

anyways, I personally recommend HD4850

HI! Thank you, I did make the purchase, it’s actually very nice. With the 512 Ram its slightly slow is there anything that I can do to increase the speed other than upgrading the ram.
