NVIDIA IS SET to introduce SLI for laptops, a real shocker. This idea actually did cross my mind but I didn’t believe that Nvidia could be that crazy. Apparently it is. Mobile SLI won't be part of any thin and light notebook - it's of course for heavy desktop replacement machines. Nvidia launched Geforce Go 6800 Ultra cards together with Dell, and those machines are already available but SLI will push the boundaries a little further. This will sure make Nvidia the performance leader in the notebook market but we know that power consumption of two mobile cards such as Geforce Go 6800 Ultra will be ridiculous. You can always get the crown. It's all about how far do you wan to reach and Nvidia with mobile SLI have reached to the sky. If ATI's mobile team is not on it already, I believe it will get busy bringing this architecture into life soon. The whole world has gone bananas. Max 10 mins on battery life thts all one can say Source: Inquirer
