will a core 2 duo 2.4 ghz,9600gt or 8800gt , 2 gb raam outperform the xbox360

it's not possible to compare a PC to a console..

a console's architecture and config is uniform... so the game can be highly optimised for that single profile.. but its not like this for PCs.. every PC is different in its config so a PC game cannot be optimised like its console counterpart..
