I never played Starcraft.
I have W40k, winter assault, dark crusade and soulstorm.
But I've played only w40k and winter assault. Completely blown by the game play and tactical pionts of this series.

you should play starcraft though graphics are dumb but the strategy factor is great and overall its a really good game starcraft 2 is coming
i recently brought dow soulstorm its absolutely rocking

Well, i hv played

Warhammer-Dawn of War
Warhammer-Dawn of War: Dark Crusade
Warhammer-Soulstorm

and really love the wide array of classes, and the maps really look awesome.

"OFFTOPIC": im also a fan of Command & Conquer series and Diablo

yeah! I love C&C series too!
Bought C&C double pack (tiberium wars + kane's wrath) few weeks ago.

I will try startcraft 2.

i hav got c&c generals but havnt played it is the c&c good?

tip of the week : the tau in warhammer are ranged attack oriented target them with meelee attack units such as flayed ones asssaultmarines etc

yup, loved all warhammer and CnC titles, never played Starcraft..... how is it actually ?? all dungeons adn dragons kida stuff ??? (i wanna try it but not b4 i read any tips from users who hv already played them) ..

I've heard that Starcraft is based in fictitious future world. Just opposite of Warcraft which loosely based on ancient fictitious world.

As per Gamespot, IGN, 1UP - starcraft is one of the finest RTS. I will definitely try it once Starcraft 2 is come out. Starcraft 1 is too old for my PC.
