Default Which card to buy

I want to buy a new mid-range graphics card. I have a budget of around 6k. Which one should I go for, I have shortlisted the following:

XFX 8600 GT
ATI 3850
ATI 3650

Which one is the best and how much do you think it would cost.

I plan to run DMC4, Crysis, Bioshock, Assasins Creed, Prostreet.

I plan to run them at 1024 x 768. If anyone has any new models to suggest please do so.

Wait for some time. ATI has to be release the new MidRange Cards HD4670 and HD4650. They're dirt cheap and many reviews reveal that it beat tha 8800GT at most of the games. So wait and get that, for as low as 5k.or even for 4.5k... Sure ATI priced them low.
Or else if u dont want to wait, then go for XpertVision 9600GT as mentioned by KPowerMania... And there is an option for u. IN Bazaar Section i see someone is selling his 8800GS for just 5000bucks. If u wish just grab that or else stick with 9600GT one....

Well where can I buy a xpert vision 9600 gt in mumbai.

I plan to buy around 20 October 2008. So please suggest should I wait for 9600gt to go lower or wait fot 4650/4670.

My configs are
Core2 Duo E6550, Intel G31, 4 GB DDR2 800 RAM, 820 GB Harddisk and a 7300 GT

Yes I am also the owner of a f***ed up 400W SMPS. Should I upgrade it. If yes, which one and how much(try and keep it as low as possible, the price that is)

Since i m not in Mumbai, i wont help u at that.. Anyway try itwares.com site... Think that helps u buy ur card...

But my wise opinion is to wait for and get a 4670(not less than this....)

Or else i see a thread in Bazaar section where some guy is selling his EVGA 8800GS OC Edition for around 5k...Just bargain and get that as low as 4.5k... Sure thats a fair deal for u if u r not intend to wait until HD4670 release.....

rajkumar_pb is right but if you just cant wait then try out Prime ABGB on Lamington Road (cant pin-point you as I dont live in Mumbai).

Yes, you will need a good PSU. I suggest you look at the CM EP 500W for around 2.5k.
